Michael Annandono
Executive Chef
  Chef Michael Annandono immersed himself in Italian taste. Michaelangelo's Executive Chef attended the Culinary Institute at Piedmont in Italy and remained in Northern Italy for 3 more years. There he worked at various pastry and food shops including the Ristorante Parisio in Acqui Terme before returning to his native Cleveland, Ohio.

Once home, he has been in the kitchen of such notable restaurants as One Walnut, Gavi's in Willoughby, Osteria and Gusto's. No stranger to best-in-class awards, Chef Michael received Cleveland Scene's "Best Italian Restaurant" award in 2002 while at the Osteria. Again in 2004 for his fare at Gusto's and again in 2006 for his culinary skills at Michaelangelo's. In 2004 Chef Michael and business partner, Joe Rutigliano, began canvassing the area for a site for a Northern Italian restaurant. Located at 2198 Murray Hill Road in Cleveland's Little Italy, Michaelangelo's is now nestled in the renovated building that once housed Ville d'Este.

Michaelangelo's offers an atmosphere that is contemporary Italian with sunny Tuscan colors, a wine bar with marble counters and a stone fireplace, all upbeat and upscale. The atmosphere is described as warm, exciting and as delicious as its food, Classic Italian taste.




Jonathon Fronck

  His attention to detail is evident in every way. Jonathon believes that fine dining should be an experience that includes great food, finely paired wine, impeccable service, ambiance and company. If one of these is missing, the occasion is compromised.

He works diligently to provide every patron with an outstanding experience and makes sure the staff delivers this every night. Born and raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Jonathon has worked in many of Cleveland's finest restaurants including Osteria downtown, Hyde Park Restaurants, Metropolitan Café and Blake's of Chagrin Falls.




Michael White
Sous Chef
  Michael was raised in the Cleveland area. From a young age Michael knew he wanted to study culinary arts. Like all great chefs it was something that just came naturally to him. He has trained for 12 years under the direction of Michael Annandono.

In his career he has helped open restaurants such as Gavi's, The Beach Club, the Lure, Osteria and Michaelangelo's. His future plans include opening a portfolio of restaurants in partnership with Michael Annandono and helping educate future chefs around Cleveland.
